LISS Study Starts Today
- January 2025: Today starts our first experimental study in longboarding. The LISS study (Longboard Injury Surveillance Study) using our SIRS online database system will collect with the help of hopefully many active skaters injury data prospectively for 12 months.
We start with the six months recruiting phase. The observation period stops in summer 2026. The IOC standard of Bahr et al 2020 is used to allow for comparability of the results to other sports.
